Materijali koji se koriste u plastičnim šoljicama za kafu

Uobičajeni materijali za plastične čaše za kafu su polistiren (PS), polipropilen (PP) i polietilen (PE). Polyethylene (PE) is highly corrosion-resistant and inexpensive, but lacks rigidity (flexural modulus approximately 200-300MPa). PP material, because it meets food contact safety standards (FDA certification), is more suitable for holding hot drinks. It is recommended to choose based on the usage scenario: PS is suitable for displaying cold drinks, PP is suitable for taking hot coffee to go, and PE is suitable for low-cost short-term use.
